Who We Are

The Maine Boules Club is an FPUSA-affiliated petanque club located in Blue Hill, Maine. We began playing in 1984 and have been affiliated with the FPUSA since 1997. Any and all are welcome to come play with us casually or take part in our tournaments.

Summer Play

Between May and October the club plays multiple times a week, weather permitting, at Atlantic Boat Company in Brooklin, Maine. If you are in the area and want to play, feel free to just show up, or contact us to confirm that play will happen on the day(s) you plan to join.

Directions

From the Brooklin General Store (~3 miles)

• Go northeast on ME-175
• Turn right onto Flye Point Road
• Turn right at the Atlantic Boat Company sign
• Take the immediate left after turning off Flye Point Road
• The courts are on the south side of the first open area after the left turn. Park on the north side of the open area.

From Blue Hill Town Center (~13 miles)

• Go southwest on Main Street/ME-172
• Go through the roundabout and take the last exit (9 o'clock) to continue on ME-172
• Turn left on to ME-175
• Turn left on to Flye Point Road
• Turn right at the Atlantic Boat Company sign
• Take the immediate left after turning off Flye Point Road.
• The courts are on the south side of the first open area after the left turn. Park on the north side of the open area.

2024 Tournaments

Maine Boules Club holds a number of tournaments throughout the summer. Anyone is welcome to take part in tournaments whether a member or not. All tournaments adhere to FPUSA rules and regulations and take place at the boatyard unless otherwise indicated. If you are interested in playing in a tournament, contact us for more information and to register.
